The Fallen was stronger than his brothers, despite them defeating and imprisoning him, so they had no choice but to steal back and hide it from him. A great battle between the Autobots (the Primes and their soldiers) and the Decepticons (the Fallen and his soldiers) took place near the Star Harvester over possession of the Matrix. The only way to activate the machine is with a legendary key called the Matrix of Leadership, which the Fallen stole from the Primes after tricking them to come to Earth in order to do so. He started off by ordering the construction of a Star Harvester on Earth in order to destroy both the planet and its Sun. However, one of them was against this rule and his name forevermore was the Fallen. The Primes made a rule: Never destroy a planet with life. The seven leaders set out into the universe seeking distant suns to harvest in order to create Energon by building powerful machines called Star Harvesters on the planets that were the closest to them. In the films, he was voiced by Tony Todd, who also played Candyman in the franchise of the same name, Grange in The Crow, Captain Darrow in The Rock, Earl Jenkins in Smallville, King Deucalion in Minotaur, Shadow in Shadow: Dead Riot, Benjamin Juma in the 24 franchise, Dreadwing in Transformers Prime, Zoom in the Arrowverse, Darkseid in the DC Animated Movie Universe, Luther Thompson in Scream and William in Tales From The Hood 3. With a new army of his to command, he seeks to obtain power and rule the universe by harvesting the energy of stars, wiping out all life on many worlds in the process.
He later founded the Decepticons through manipulation, becoming the master of Megatron. Originally one of the original Primes, the Fallen went rogue when he gave into his greedy ambitions for power, but was thwarted by his brothers and imprisoned for his actions. Megatronus Prime, better known as the Fallen, is the main antagonist of the 2009 science-fiction action film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
